What are saved searches?

You may set up and save a search with a name of your choice. These named searches will be listed under the Saved Searches tab on the top menu. The Saved Searches page contains a list for Recruiter Saved Searches and a list for Venture Capital /Private Equity Saved Searches.

Set up a search — for example — all the recruiters specializing in the industry Biotechnology and the position sales, salary greater than 100k and include the majors. Then name it Senior Biotech Sales and click the Save & Submit Search button.

Then two weeks later in order to make sure you have the most current data when you want to do a distribution, load the saved search Senior Biotech Sales. Then click the Save & Submit Search Button which will re-run the saved search parameters for the current database. Then when you download the spreadsheet, it has the most current data available.

There is no need to re-name the saved search, just loading it and clicking on the Save & Submit Search button automatically updates it under the same name.

There may be a time when you want to change the parameters of a saved search, for example use salary greater than 150k. Then just load the saved search, change the salary range and click the Save & Submit Search Button again which will re-run the saved search parameters for the changed salary and for the current database. Then when you download the spreadsheet, it has the most current data available.
